WHAT IS GOING ON WITH ME?
strength needs to be reinforced every day
WHY ARE SOME DAYS LIKE THIS?
“if your world feels upside-down, it’s source is often found in something difficult to let go of.”
OKAY…
HOW CAN I RELEASE THIS PATTERN?
seeking the sacred
connection to a greater awareness
teaches rites of sacrifice, traditions, and worship
can tell me “why” behind experience
reveals what needs to be sacrificed to pass through this gateway
MEDITATION WITH THE HIEROPHANT
structure and structural
flexible but firm rules to follow
follow an established (by you!) process
taurus = direction
venus = values
She beckons me into the Darkness
between the pillars behind her.
I close my eyes and follow.
transcript of audio recording 83:

i enter a cool, shaded hallway tiled with glass tiles, small, square, intricate.
my footsteps echo back at me with every step i take.
i imagine there’s some sort of canal in this hallway, which is arched, by the way, and blue.
it seems to lead on in many directions all at once for many miles, all of the same miles.
& there’s a bull now, taken the Hierophant’s place, tawny, yellowish. it doesn’t turn to look at me, just keeps walking in the same direction: North.
an eagle: it swoops down and rips my heart from my chest, taking it far away.
when i open my eyes, everything seems different than it had before.

okay-
lets break this down.
notes taken from “Magic of the Ordinary”
by Rabbi Gershon Winkler
EAGLE
NORTH
is in the
NORTH
is
the mystery place
the unknown
motivations that come from deep inside me
choices and actions that sometimes baffle
soul place
unfathomable inner consciousness so difficult to access on a day to day basis, yet still the root of our every action, move, breath
direction of Infinite One
invoked as God as Protector, whose wings provide with refuge and solace
BULL
WEST
is in the
"the place of Blending”
of night and dream
where all the doing gets harnessed into being
place of wisdom and understanding
Bull is also fearsomeness, the looming threat of death
brings us into the herd, the merging
into both power and powerlessness, courage & terror
“…into the west, where what we know & what we contribute to understanding merge into and knowing that moves us daringly from yesterday into tomorrow across the moat of today.”
